Nehemiah Behavioral Health , offers the opportunity for biological parents, and or guardians, to have structured parenting time. This program provides supervised visits for children that are currently placed out of home, or in the custody of another parent or relative. The program is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for parents to interact with their children. The goal of the program is to support healthy interactions between parent and child. Our staff will maintain neutral observations of interactions, and provide guidance and feedback to parents on potentially negative parenting strategies. Our staff understands the importance of the parent-child relationship, and how it affects a child’s sense of security and self worth. In child welfare cases, the goal of the program is to support reunification of a child with their birth parents when possible.
